“ Sooo I know it may not be for everyone, but I’m a connoisseur of the shrimp and grits category. Or at least I believe I am lol I came here over a year ago and got them and was blown away. Well, I got them again tonight and all I can say is wow they’re honestly no words to explain how good they are they’re just as good or better than what I remember but that’s not all... that also transpires to their service... absolutely fantastic!!! From their locally sourced vegetables and meats to the friendly and selfless service. You should not pass this place up even if you don’t stay in the hotel I would absolutely recommend stopping in and making them your... what’s for dinner tonight?? The tuna appetizer I had was also fantastic. They know what they’re doing. I’ll be back and just can’t recommend high enough! Keep up the good work honestly, can’t wait till I’m back in town again just to eat here again!! ”
“ It is such a beautiful place! The river view is AMAZING! Like so many places in Wilmington. Our waiter, Jonathan suggested the DIver Scallops and the Blackened seafood Pasta and both were great. We had a wonderful time before our show at the Wilson Center. Will definitely come back! Thanks ”
“ Excellent environment! We were there on a Saturday night and it was quiet, but we were told that it can get loud when there is an event in the hotel or even just an event downtown. Chris was the manager and Min was our server. They were both excellent, respectful, and hospitable, as was everyone who helped us throughout. We loved the Brussels sprouts, seafood pasta, and garlic fries! My boys loved the kids’ meals as well, eating more than they usually do at restaurants. The hotel also has a rooftop bar, cloud 9, that is absolutely a must-visit after dinner! ”

“ My S.O. and I stayed at the hotel for a few days, and we spent a lot of time at many other local restaurants since this is our annual vacation to treat ourselves. Out of all the places we ate at, this one is tied with Oceanic at Wrightsville Beach in our book (minus the ocean view on Crystal Pier). We came there frustrated because we had a bad experience the night before at another restaurant, though we left happy, full, and refreshed from Steam. Our server, who I believe was the bartender too, Shannon, was incredible. From the moment we sat down she greeted us after the hostess showed us to our table which had the best view of The Riverwalk. She offered to make us custom “mocktails”, our food was mouthwatering, and the ambience felt like a near candlelit dinner. It was beyond what we expected from the “hotel restaurant”, and arguably it was the best one during our vacation. We cannot wait to return the next time we visit Wilmington, and we hope to see Shannon again. ”

Delicious food and if you go on a night when not much else is happening in Wilmington, you can pretty much have the place to yourself! ”
